Hispanic Heritage Celebration
Celebrate culture, community, and tradition at the Hispanic Heritage Celebration in Fort Morgan!
Join us for a full day of live music, folkloric dancers, delicious food, local vendors, and family-friendly fun at Glenn Miller Park. Enjoy the energy of the salsa and grito competitions, explore a variety of food trucks and vendors, and spend the day experiencing the rich traditions and vibrant spirit of Hispanic heritage.
From noon until 10 PM, the park will be filled with music, dancing, celebration, and community connection.

Competitions:
Salsa needs to be Homemade. It can be any flavor profile. Heat level will be labeled. Along with whether the salsa contains nuts.

1st Place: Les Schwab- Gift certificate for an oil change up to $200 + Winter travel kit
2nd Place: Edwards Market- $50 gift card
Sign up for the Grito Competition at the Fort Morgan Area Chamber of Commerce Booth during the event. Free to enter.
How the Competition Works:
The Chamber Director introduces the contestant to the audience.
Contestants take turns on the main stage to deliver their best, most authentic, and powerful grito into the microphone.
The contestant with the loudest cheer from the crowd wins the competition.
Everyone is in the same category. There are not different categories for kids and adults.
Prizes for Grito Competition
1st Place: Les Schwab- Gift certificate for an oil change up to $200 + Winter travel kit
2nd Place: Las Vaqueritas- $150 gift certificate
3rd Place: Eranisol / La Patrona- Gift certificate for two entrances + a bucket of beer
Loteria will be played at 5pm.
Come play loteria! We will have the salsa booth transformed into a place to play loteria!
